The Property and Evidence Technician performs technical and administrative work in support of law enforcement operations, with a primary focus on the receipt, cataloging, storage, release, transport, and lawful disposition of physical and digital property and evidence. This includes maintaining accurate records in accordance with state law, department policy, and standard procedures. The Technician assists officers and detectives with investigative requests, responds to public inquiries, collects and preserves electronic and physical evidence (including LiveScan and ink fingerprints), and manages electronic evidence files. This position operates with minimal supervision and requires a high level of integrity, organization, and attention to detail.
