The Crime Scene Specialist is responsible for documenting, collecting, preserving, and processing physical evidence from crime scenes to aid in criminal investigations and successful prosecutions. This role ensures the integrity and continuity of evidence through precise forensic techniques, detailed reporting, and close collaboration with deputies and detectives. Crime Scene Specialists respond to a wide range of incidents, often in sensitive environments, and play a critical role in transforming raw scene information into actionable, reliable investigative findings. This is a full-time position, forty (40) hours per week, and includes shift work. This position is required to participate in an on-call rotation and must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
