The Civilian Police Investigator provides specialized investigative, forensic, and technical support to sworn law enforcement personnel in the investigation of criminal offenses. Responsibilities include crime scene documentation, evidence collection and preservation, digital forensic analysis, and forensic scene reconstruction.
The position assists detectives and patrol personnel by conducting investigative follow-up, analyzing evidence, and preparing investigative documentation to support criminal prosecutions. The investigator works collaboratively with sworn officers, forensic specialists, and external partners to ensure accurate, timely, and legally sound investigative outcomes.
