Duties
Performs responsible technical field and office work for complex crime scene investigations, documenting crime scenes, evidence identification, collection, processing, preservation, and submission; producing detailed reports; testifying in court proceedings; and performing other duties as assigned. Employees assigned to this classification must complete an extensive training program to reach full proficiency in all areas. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Forensics Manager. Performance may be reviewed while in progress and upon completion through direct on-site observation, conferences, and review of reports.Earn a Degree in Crime Scene Investigation, Forensic Science, or Computer Forensics
