This journeyman-level position will serve as a Forensic Latent Prints Examiner.

 Earn a Degree in Crime Scene Investigation, Forensic Science, or Computer Forensics

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree related to forensic, chemical, physical, or biological science and 2-4 years of experience.
  • Specific degree and/or certification requirements based on assigned unit.
**Agency Preferred Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, or Physical Science from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Must have previously completed the Ron Smith Academy fingerprint school.
