The Crime Scene/Property Evidence Technician I is responsible for ensuring the proper custody and disposition of evidence and property. In addition, the Crime Scene/Property Evidence Technician I provides support services for processing crime scenes that include but is not limited to identification and processing of latent fingerprints, photographic and video documentation, identification and collection of physical evidence, proper documentation through crime scene reports and testimony in court cases for the City of Casselberry. The Crime Scene/Property Evidence Technician I works independently within established policies and procedures.
Duties
Provides the administration of the evidence and property held by the Police Department. (95%)Earn a Degree in Crime Scene Investigation, Forensic Science, or Computer Forensics
