Salary: $76,069.50 - $133,282.50 Annually

The Prince William County Violent Crimes Bureau is looking for an energetic, self-starter, with excellent communication skills, to assist Detectives as a professional staff death investigator. Under general supervision, you will investigate sudden, unexpected or unnatural deaths unattended by a physician. You will be required to collect evidence pertinent to the death investigation, as well as determine if the death was natural, accidental, a suicide, or criminal in nature. If you are interested in working in this full-time capacity with an organization promoting public safety in the community, then the Prince William County Police Department is the place for you.
Duties
This position will require the incumbent to assist detectives in multiple ways including but not limited to:Earn a Degree in Crime Scene Investigation, Forensic Science, or Computer Forensics
