Duties

  • As the Forensic Services Supervisor, your days will be filled with overseeing a team of highly skilled Forensic Scientists and Crime Scene Specialists, guiding them through complex investigations, and ensuring every piece of evidence is meticulously examined and processed. Our Forensic Services Team members are the heroes behind the scenes, and we're looking for a leader who has a passion for Forensic Sciences with a strong desire to mentor, motivate, and grow their team members.

 Earn a Degree in Crime Scene Investigation, Forensic Science, Computer Forensics or Forensic Psychology

Requirements

Candidates for the Forensic Services Supervisor must possess:
  • A Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Forensic Science (Criminalistics); Biology; Biochemistry; Chemistry; or a closely related field of study.
  • At least eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience performing crime scene processing, latent print comparisons, or working as a Criminalist or Forensic Scientist in a laboratory actively engaged in the forensic sciences.
  • Must possess a valid Class D Arizona Driver's License by date of hire.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain an Arizona Automated Fingerprint Identification System certification within 12 months.
  • Must be court qualified as an expert witness.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Because of the confidential, sensitive nature of information handled, successful completion of a background investigation and polygraph is required.
