There are immediate openings for the position of Forensic Evidence Technician with the Sheriff's Crime Lab. This list may also be used for future vacancies.
Forensic Evidence Technicians are allocated only to the Sheriff's Regional Crime Laboratory. Under the general direction of a Supervising Criminalist, this class is responsible for the identification, collection, preservation, and transportation of physical evidence from crime scene investigations and autopsies. Incumbents perform crime scene documentation, fingerprint processing, and photography work.
