The Wyoming Department of Health, Chemical Testing Program seeks an experienced forensic chemist (Scientist II) desiring to work with a team of scientists conducting high complexity tests for licit and illicit compounds in human biological samples. The scope of work includes using mass spectrometry techniques (e.g., GC/MS, LC/MS, LC/Q-tof, and GC-FID) to identify drugs of abuse in complex sample matrices, reviewing the work of forensic technicians and toxicologists, providing consultative services to multiple state agencies, training Senior Operators of the Intoximeter EC/IR II, and providing expert testimony in court.
