The Forensics Investigator is responsible for assisting and conducting administrative and criminal digital and forensic investigations related to human resources, internal affairs and audits on behalf of the Office of Inspector General (OIG) and applicable stakeholders.
The Forensics Investigator is responsible for generating ad-hoc reports of user access history, and user digital and system activity; and conducting an analysis of user activity in order to develop objective findings and reporting of the facts of an incident. The Forensics Investigator is also responsible for preparing written reports of findings of fact, and communicating findings to case agent or requesting party or authorized personnel. The Forensic Investigator is responsible for managing and maintaining time frames of investigations in adherence to performance standards.
