The Pennsylvania State Police is looking for a qualified individual to fill an entry-level Forensic Scientist Trainee position within the Erie Regional Laboratory.

Duties:

  • As a Forensic Scientist Trainee, you will participate in a structured training program designed to develop knowledge, understanding, and technical skill related to drug identification, report preparation, and courtroom testimony.

Qualifications:
  • Must meet PA residency requirement – For more information on ways to meet PA residency requirements, follow the link and click on Residency
  • Minimum Experience and Training Requirements - A bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, forensic science, or a closely related physical or natural science, which includes or is supplemented by 16 college credits in chemistry.
  • This particular position also requires that the applicant possesses a minimum of 24 college credits in chemistry coursework.
