Duties:

Performs skilled administrative support work, oversees and preserves the chain of custody of all evidence turned into the property room, manages and records property in control of the evidence and property areas; transports physical evidence, and keeps accurate records of all property through the electronic records management system.

Requirements:

High School graduate or equivalent. Also two years’ experience in service position with knowledge of word processing, database software, and office management experience, or two year post-secondary education in criminal justice or related field.
Desired Qualifications: Experience in property room or evidence management. Knowledge and experience of police records management systems such as Central Square.
