The Pennsylvania State Police is looking for a qualified individual to fill an entry-level Chemistry Technician position within the Forensic DNA Division.

Duties:

  • As a Chemistry Technician in the Forensic DNA Division, you will be responsible for a variety of technical and support tasks necessary in the operation of a DNA laboratory. You will also be responsible for providing front end processing of DNA database samples including the receipt and inventory of samples, the automated processing of samples, information scanning and verification, and the mailing of database kits to collecting agencies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Experience and Training Requirements - Completion of 60 college credits including nine credits in chemistry
