Salary: $40,860 - $44,631 per year

This is limited performance technical fingerprint identification and classification work on a rotating shift. Employees in this class both manually identify and operate an Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS)/Multimodal Biometric Identification System (MBIS) workstation to match unidentified fingerprints against law enforcement databases using fingerprint expertise. Work includes classifying, identifying and rolling fingerprints of prisoners and others. This class is differentiated from higher-level classes by the variety and complexity of assignments and the degree of technical guidance required. Employees develop skills in dealing with difficult fingerprint classification problems. Work is performed under the supervision of a Fingerprint Identification Supervisor.
Requirements: The following statement represents the minimum training and experience standards which will be used to admit or reject applicants for tests. Candidates must meet requirements within 30 days after the last date for filing applications.OPTION 1
