  • To serve as a civilian employee of the Indiana State Police whose primary responsibility is to be accountable for the administration and operation of the laboratory and evidence system at a Regional Laboratory within the context of the Laboratory's mission.


  • Must be a high school graduate or possess the equivalent GED.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in a natural science, forensic science or Management.
  • Three (3) years full time experience in crime scene investigation, a forensic discipline, polygraph examination, or management.
  • General knowledge of each forensic discipline.
  • Must have the ability to comprehend the rules of evidence.
  • Must have the ability to manage and adhere to established laboratory safety practices.
