Duties:

Under direction, serves as an advanced laboratory specialist in the Latent Prints Section; analyzes cases involving development and enhancement of latent friction ridge detail through physical and chemical evidence processing, general and macro-photography, and laser and alternate light source operation. Conducts Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) searches and related operations; performs both routine and advanced forensic science casework which is often sensitive, confidential, and controversial in nature.

Requirements:

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in natural science or forensic science.
  • Requires five years of professional forensic science work experience.
