Salary: $28.70 to $41.59 per hour

Under limited administrative direction, this position performs technical rationalistic work for the Aurora Police Department and associated agencies in the Unified Metropolitan Forensic Crime Laboratory (UMFCL). The work involves performing various tests and analysis on evidence in order to develop facts pertinent to criminal investigations including the analysis of biological material from submitted evidence items; generating written technical reports of all examinations or analysis performed, court preparation and giving expert testimony in court proceedings.
An equivalent combination of education, experience and training that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, abilities to perform the duties of this position will be considered.Knowledge:
