Requirements:

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, math, engineering, or information technology related field.
EXPERIENCE:
  • Four (4) years of combined experience managing systems projects in a large enterprise environment AND/OR managing legal and/or forensic cases in a large enterprise environment.
  • AND
  • Two (2) years of experience managing projects in an e-Discovery/Computer Forensics environment which may be included in or separate from the experience listed above.
EQUIVALENCY(IES):
  • High school diploma or GED plus eight (8) years of the required experience including two (2) years of experience managing projects in an e-Discovery/Computer Forensics environment will meet the education and experience requirements.
  • An associate's degree in any field plus six (6) years of the required experience including two (2) years of experience managing projects in an e-Discovery/Computer Forensics environment will meet the education and experience requirements.
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in a non-specified field plus six (6) years of the required experience including two (2) years of experience managing projects in an e-Discovery/Computer Forensics environment will meet the education and experience requirements.
  • A master's degree or higher in a specified field plus two (2) years of the required experience including two (2) years of experience managing projects in an e-Discovery/Computer Forensics environment will meet the education and experience requirements.
OTHER REQUIREMENT(S):
  • No felony or class A misdemeanor conviction.
  • No class B misdemeanor conviction within the last ten (10) years.
  • No family violence convictions.
  • Cannot currently be on deferred adjudication for any felony, class A misdemeanor or class B misdemeanor charge.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITY(IES):
  • Requires effective oral and written communication skills for promoting customer relations with various city departments and the City Attorney's office.
PREFERENCE(S):
  • Experience with litigation support software and forensic analytic software, such as Clearwell, Encase and/or FTK is preferred.
