Information governance and litigation support consulting firm seeking a hard-working, intelligent individual with impressive project management skills and the ability to work with limited supervision. The ideal candidate would possess strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in stressful environments. This position requires the ability and willingness to work remotely, as travel to client sites would occur on an as-needed basis.

Duties:

Execute project tasks, such as:

  • Conduct forensic collections and investigations on computers, servers, and mobile devices
  • Data recovery
  • Electronic discovery requests for legal and corporate clients
  • Collect Electronically Stored Information (ESI)
  • Utilize proprietary methodologies and cutting edge forensic tools
  • Responsible for quality of client deliverables

Support project management activities:

  • Communicate the progress and any issues of all assignments
  • Obtain all correspondence from team, organize and save
  • Prepare project binder

Assist with business development, and support sales and marketing efforts:

  • Support the sales and marketing team’s efforts when requested
  • Assist with sales calls to corporate security managers, attorneys, law firms, and litigation support firms

Network with members of local trade associations and other groups of interest.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience with the following operating systems: Windows, Macintosh, Linux or UNIX, and DOS
  • Computer forensic tools such as EnCase, Access Data, FTK, etc.
  • Must be able to conduct exams on compromised computers and servers
  • Understanding of information systems security
  • Solid foundation of technical experience and expertise
  • Hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Understanding of network architecture and general database concepts
  • Proficient in document management
  • Electronic mail systems, such as Exchange
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal). Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully to technical and non-technical individuals as well as senior management audiences.
  • Other Preferred Skills:
  • EnCase Certification (EnCE) or equivalent
  • Proficiency in conducting live analysis on networks, and multiple platforms is desired
  • Experience working with a variety of backup software applications and tape formats
